The Catholic Marketing Network was founded in 1996 by Alan Napleton.

The decision to start the Catholic Marketing Network was prompted by years of discussions between Catholic professionals involved in a wide variety of activities related to the distribution of Catholic materials. Some were owners of Catholic gift and book stores, others were involved in publishing of Catholic books and music or producing Catholic materials such as jewelry, statuary, or art.

There was a common agreement that there was no professional organization in existence that offered the opportunity for all of these diverse entities and individuals to come together for the purpose of making others aware of their activities, exchange information, network among each other and work together towards a common goal. That goal was to create a more efficient environment for the distribution of Catholic materials.

The Catholic Marketing Network was founded by Mr. Napleton to help accomplish that goal.

Mission

The purpose of the Catholic Marketing Network is to encourage the most effective production and distribution of Catholic literature, music, gifts, and other products and services consistent with the teachings of the Holy Roman Catholic Church; to provide a common forum for the mutual interchange of ideas and suggestions relating to the organization and its individual members; and, to provide for the common concerns and interests of the organization and its members by organizing and supporting conferences, conventions, publications, and other mediums deemed desirable.

Dedication

The Catholic Marketing Network is consecrated to Mary, the Immaculate Mother of God under her title, Our Lady of Guadalupe and the activities of the organization are entrusted to her special care.
