The Catholic Writers' Guild is a group of writers, artists, editors, illustrators, and allied dedicated to building a vibrant Catholic literary and artistic culture. We do this by encouraging each other to create, publish, perform, and share our work; by reflecting upon core Catholic values in art; and by networking among ourselves and with others within the faith and literary communities. We are loyal to the teaching authority of the Church. Our Seal of Approval program pre-screens material - fiction and non-fiction; adult, young adult, and children's - so book sellers can offer them confidently. All SOA books have been reviewed both for fidelity and editorial quality. Our Catholic Arts and Letters Awards (CALAs) highlight the very best in Catholic fiction, with bi-annual awards in adult fiction and YA/Children's fiction. This year marks our 11th annual Catholic Writers Conference!
